Senior Land Acquisition Surveyor
Monday – Friday. Office hours. 40 hours per week.
Hybrid / remote working (We have 39 sites across the country, support offices near Bristol & Cannock )
Travel throughout the UK will be a part of the role
Salary range £60,000 - £80,000 DOE + car allowance + company performance bonus + Benefits

The role
The key priority for this role is to identify and progress the development of a pipeline of suitable edge of settlement land acquisition opportunities for new crematoria and natural/woodland burial sites throughout the UK to enable us to continue growing with care.
You will be an integral part of our existing small development team, actively undertaking site searches in agreed target locations (desktop and visits), carrying out due diligence, leading on acquisition and taking the sites through planning and providing support to more junior land acquisition surveyors.
You will also initiate contact and build relationships with target owners and land agents to Identify and progress land acquisition opportunities. Additional responsibilities include carrying out due diligence, initial negotiations and associated development/planning work.
About you
· Proven experience and track record of site searching/land acquisition is essential.
· Background: Land Acquisition, Land Buyer, Project Developer, Land & Development, Site Acquisition, Town Planner or similar.
· Must have experience of buying land for commercial projects within rural / outside of town locations.
· Ability to work flexible hours when required.
· UK driving licence (role involves extensive travel).
· Excellent communication, interpersonal & presentation skills.
· Excellent negotiation and sales skills.
· Driven & results orientated.
Desirable skills:
· Network of existing land agent contacts
· Experience of using Landsight or similar software
· Chartered Surveyor or similar professional qualification
· Property Development/Planning experience
